It's with great sadness that I must inform you all about the passing away of our former guild leader Zombina. As many of you know Zombina has been absent from the guild for quite a while due to being ill. What very few of us knew was how ill he was. Zombina died of cancer last sunday and will be sorely missed by everyone who knew him. He started Dawn of the Undead and as far as I'm concerned it's still his guild. As a guild leader I could never hope to fill his shoes nor would I ever try.
To the very end he spoke of coming back to Dawn of the undead but life can be cruel and it never happened. He will be missed

Keep an eye on the forum for date and time of any remembrance activities that we have yet to think up

As Higgo already said, Zomb was one hell of a character and will be missed greatly. I still recall my original chats with Z when trying to get into dotu and discussing Leeds and all that kind of thing (I came from York originally, 15mins away). Most of all even though I didn't know his real name until a little while ago he was a really decent person and 99% of the time really great to get on. Saying that he could be stubborn (think paladins) but him being like that made him.. well.. him!

    Much respect and everything.

Metallicat, thanks for your post you made although I knew before you made the post I appriciate the gesture you made of registering on here and letting all us 'unknown' people know about it. Can you also pass our condolences onto his family too please, although we dont know them or anything it seems fair to say that I (and anyone else who knew Z) that we are thinking of them at this time.

/salute and much respect to a great in game friend, you will be missed.

A lot off sadnes here too ... rest in peace Z.

But also I keep thinking about those happy times that DotU was still  a young and small guild. And the way Z helped other ppl exploring Azeroth, including myself, it was always fun to group with Z.

I am very shocked and saddened by this news.

I would like to pass my condolences onto everyone who knew him, and especially onto his family and close friends.

Z will be sorely missed by everyone who spoke to him, and knew him in game, and irl, he was a truly nice person, who was so easy to talk to and to get on with.

/salute with the greatest respect, will be missed :'(

My heartfelt condolences go out to Z's family and friends.

Zombina was one of the nicest people i have had the pleasure to know and always had / made time for a chat, which i know was all part of being a great guild leader but it always felt more personal than that.

R.I.P m8 you will never be forgotten.

I havn't been on this forum for quite a while, but when Diantul told me that Zombina had died I just couldn't resist positing here

Zombina was a really great person of strength and heart. It's a shame that he should suffer hes fate like this.

Zombina you will be missed alot by me at least, you did your best to me while I was in Dotu, and even when I was not you did what you could to get me back in

Condolences, not just to the family, not just to the friend, but to everyone who ever knew Zombina, because he was a person who spoke from the heart, a person of truth, and a valueable leader amongst us.

Zombina you will be missed, thanks for the great time

Zombina you was a glorious leader
    Strong in body and care
It's saddens me alot to see
He had to go up to there

    ... Beatefull init?
