As someone said earlier here on the forum:

Join the darkside, we have coockies!

If you buy it, youre stuck with the EU version. Preorder customers are allowed to start 3 days ahead, so Im playing the "real" thing.

    I'm on Karag Dron

Playing a sorceress, also rolled a zealot

It's looking ok, a bit hard on my pc but doable. But like any other new game that has been published since EQ2 hit the shelves, the synergy between your character and it's environment isn't so good. Only WoW manages to make it a complete experience, even though it is very cartoony I feel much more part of a real world than in Warhammer (or EQ2 or Vanguard).

Will see what happens if I get myself a new PC. So far Wrath seems to be more interesting, although it needs some major new aspects to get me back into WoW I think.

WoW devs should have a look in WAR (I think they will) because they added some interesting UI options and possibilities that would make WoW interesting as well. Like the superb quest/log book.

The public quest system is interesting too, no need to group but you can go to an area and defeat an encounter (killed a big drake a few times the other day) and depending on the effort you put in you are rewarded your share of the loot, and if you slack you don't get anything.

Havent done much PVP yet as I am not a fan of it anyway but it seems interesting enough, having the quests and the objectives makes it more interesting than the mindles AV/AB grind in WoW.

No final verdict yet, but it's interesting enough for me to get back to my PC a bit and play an MMORPG (and WoW doesn't do that for me anymore at the moment).

Now only to find a way to devide my time between RL, WAR and Spore ;)
    there's someone in my head
    but it's not me

I can recommend the PvP in WAR, very fun indeed. They have managed a nice balance between the classes, and some abilities to escape death if you are ganked by an evil witch hunter if youre a small and overall nice shaman.  ;D

shaman is quite fun. If you dps you heal better, if you heal you dps better. So its a true hybrid. I usually place myself in the middle of dmg and upper third of the healing done in a fight.

Grandcornu is lvl 5 on axbite :)

At last, a game that provides fun (so far) instead of making fun of you (thinking hard about conan)

Not a big fan of pvp, so a PvE server just suits me well :)

so far, the quest system is better than wow. Public quests are a nice solution to grouping problems. Will check crafting soon ;)
